Having a few cool projects this sem. Some from EE2007 & 1 from CS2102.

Learning how to program serial ports and send data from computer to computer. Last time I used C & C++ to write program to capture pictures from 100+ cameras via parallel ports. This time have to use Assembly language. I wish we were allowed to use C++. Anyway, can learn smt new.

The most exciting project is from CS2102: Job site. I was doing design for my own job site and by chance was assigned to the group with job site project. Have successfully lobbied my group mates to vote for PHP + MySQL. I will go further with pitching Zend Framework + Smarty. Since I have worked as a developer for quite some time, I want to make my group enjoy working professionally too, with Aptana Studio, PHPEclipse, Doxygen and comply to W3C standards in web design. Although the CS2102 is not 100% CA but doing good with project will surely help comprehending and mastering SQL & PHP.
